Nobody offers more caliper kits in more styles than Diamond Engineering. We manufacture all of our popular caliper kits to match whichever style fastener you choose to customize your bike with. Socket Caps, The Groove or 12 Point. Our kits are also the most complete in the market too. For example our front caliper kit for 2000-07 models includes the pad pins, caliper bridge bolts and the mounting bolts. The chrome kit from Harley only includes two of the three bridge bolts and the pad pins. The other bolts are not even available from them. Another competitor includes socket cap pad pins in their 12 point kit because that is all they have because they do not manufacture in house like us. One more example is our 2008-10 front caliper kit. This kit includes the two mounting bolts and three bridge bolts. Only two of the three bridge bolts are visible but we felt you the customer would prefer to have a complete kit and not be left with one rusting bolt that was not included. We are mentioning this here not only to show you the detail that goes into our kits but, so when you compare one kit to another you know you are getting more for your money and the best quality parts and finish in the industry. For those of you who want or need specific fasteners from these or any of our kits all parts are available individually as well. 

Brake parts are considered “wear parts” that have to be serviced and replaced periodically. We here at Diamond Engineering do not subscribe to this. We manufacture our brake caliper wear parts to exceed factory specs in both strength and tolerances to out perform the competition. Our pad pins and floating caliper bolts are manufactured from 630 stainless steel. Precision CNC machined to give an extremely smooth finish. Heat treated to 190,000psi tensile to give wear resistance that will last almost forever. (We have made these parts for five years now and have not been able to fine a set that needs replacing. If your Diamond Engineering pad pins wear our simply send them to us and we will gladly replace them for free) Then, they are tumbled to remove the heat treat color and further smooth the surface finish and finally hand polished to a mirror.
